Using the SX1 Point-N-Putt Putter

The SX1 Putter features the exclusive Point-N-Putt Visual Alignment System. This 'One Step Alignment Process' eliminates many common set-up flaws to improve alignment - the most important element to a successful putt. Below is a short how-to guide to getting the most out of your SX1 Putter.

THE SETUP

The traditional method for lining up a putt has always been for the player to visually square the striking face 90° to the target direction. With the SX1 this is no longer necessary or recommended.

The SX1 Putter has been specifically designed to have the directional pointer removed from the striking face, so that the putter face is blind-sided from the players view.

Due to the pointer being removed from the face, you will find that when the arrow is pointed at the target, the striking face is automatically squared to 90° at the target direction.

Ensure the putter head is flat on the green and you have a straight line of sight down the shaft.

EXECUTION

Focus on the directional arrow, and point it at the target. Do your best to not focus on the face of the putter. Bring the putter back and follow through to connect with the ball. You should be performing as clean a pendulum stroke as possible. Let the putter head follow through naturally behind the ball.

This simple method of ‘pointing’ is easier and more accurate than ’squaring’ for most golfers. It assures you that you’re correctly lined up which, in turn, frees you to make a confident putting stroke.

As was proven through the SAM PuttLabs tests done across three countries and 99 players, there was an average improvement of 16.5%, with the highest improvement being an incredible 67%!

Purchase of Rake Gap Wedge

Upon receipt of my Rake Gap Wedge, I was impressed by the look of the club. I liked the white shaft and the design of the wedge.
The wedge weight felt comfortable and looked impressive when placed behind the ball. I felt confident in hitting shots which helped getting the ball closer to the hole. I am now considering replacing my current wedges ((60) and (56) for the PnP wedges.

Site line combo

Having just purchased the combo I tried them in my local comp with no practice at all. The chipper iny first game was used from max distance, 80m out. I was between 2 trees with some canopy hanging down. This was my 3rd shot to a par 5 and it ended up on the green edge. Using the new putter I finished with a par. Not bad for first day. 2 holes later on par 3, 2nd shot was just off the back of the green and with my now trusty new putter it went in
from about 6 metres for par. I have played 3 rounds since and I don't know how I got along without them. Extremely happy with my purchase and have since last thu I parted the first 4 holes of my local course and came 3rd in the daily comp with net 3 under par/HCP 23. Great gear. Many thanks. Gordon Cox.

SiteLine Putter & Chipper Combo

I would also strongly recommend the SiteLine Chipper.

Siteline Putter
