Your Stance and the Ball Position

Having the golf ball properly positioned in your stance can have a major impact on your stroke.

A golf ball positioned too far back of center will cause you to hit down on the ball causing it to pop up in the air with unwanted spin and usually off of your intended line.

We suggest your ball position at a minimum should be in the middle of your stance but preferably the ball will rest somewhere under your heart.

With the golf ball under your heart or slightly forward of center you will strike the putt on the upswing of your arc which will allow the golf ball to roll sooner rather than hop or skid.

Reaching the putting green should be a time that is celebrated. After all, the green is technically the simplest part of the course. It’s a clean, smooth surface with no bunkers, or rough, and no out of bounds. The target is right there, all you have to do is put the ball in the hole.

alightment putter

I have only had three times to try the putter, it is taking some time to get used to however things are starting to improve ,with games that I have played.

RAKE Sandwedge

Bought a RAKE sand wedge for myself ( GA 12 ) and one for my wife ( GA 18 ). We both love them and will be definitely keeping them in our bags. Getting out of a bunker is much easier than with our old wedges and they are also great for chipping from thick or fluffy rough around or near the green.

Fast Delivery and Good Communication

Order was received before the due date and well packaged. Club was exactly as described and was great value. Thanks.

Mr. Rake

I have had a long association with Mr Rake. Very reliable in bunkers and the rough. My opponent agreed with me that Mr Rake won me the pennants match against her at Concord Golf Club. I have bought one for my partner for his Birthday. Highly recommend it.
